You, sir or madam, are my hero. This is by far the coolest cosplay costume I have ever seen and I wish I could see it in person. I'm seriously rendered speechless by how amazing this is!

Holy mother!! Wow. This is one of the most impressive Zoids cosplays I've EVER seen. Soooo good!!
Where will you be wearing it? And what materials did you use?

This is going to Anime boston First and foremost. Then it's off to Connecticon, and I'd be letting people down if I didn't also manage to get it to Otakon.
Materials include:
Heavy duty wheeled Garbage bin
Insulation foam (The big pink boards)
Styrofoam blocks (As in AC moore)
Foam core project board
Modgepodge
Spraypaint
Hotmelt glue
3 inch screws
PVC piping
A dowel
Extendable Painter's poles (the support struts to allow accessibility without the need for a crane to lift this up)
Reflective tape (the eyes)
a Pair of shoes
Various bits of aluminum to build the foot attachments to the shoes
And last but not least: Brilliance!

Just be sure not to bother me until like, after 11 on Friday. I have a 10 AM judging time, and this thing takes a while to transport, assemble, and wear @_@
