I was waiting for the page when Erick says something like that about The Ripper!
However I have a strong belief that he lies to make a proper impression on others, the part of me can't get the picture of his father out of my head. I noticed the strange likeness between your version of The Ripper and Eric's father. Could it possibly be... family likeness? (I'm probably going too far, but it's just fun to think this way now!
