Description This was a commision from my friend and DM ZeonBelial
I was supposed to give this character clothing or armor but I forgot before I already started inking the picture so we jokingly decided to make this character Serusskuh the Nudist Monk.

Lindwyrms/Lynada (Serpentine Dragonborn)
Hailing from the Great Desert of Tekale, Serpentine Dragonborn have a long and storied history of warfare, trapping, and are overall highly reminiscent of armed nagas with more draconic traits. They come in many colors, mostly earth tones such as tan, yellow, brown, gold, black, and very rarely orange or red.

WARRIOR BANDS

Serpentine Dragonborn were, at one point, little more than nomadic savages fighting each other over the lands near the rivers and oases of the great desert. Back when the Draakor fled north from their masters, they came across the Lindwyrms and taught them to farm and warned them of the harbingers in exchange for safe passage. But before this happened and even for many years afterwards, the Lindwyrms had a traditional type of warrior.

Traditionally, four-to-seven Lindworms would train together for seven years and form incredible bonds with each other, often becoming polyamorous lovers pushing each other to greatness. Several would often die in the training process, but those that survived would become a band of Skirmishers who work absurdly well together.

Skirmishers never leave their bands until their band is all dead. The last living member of a destroyed band will often commit suicide or retire into the sands never to be seen again, but some will seek out new adventures with new people. Skirmisher bands still travel throughout the desert to this day, forming the main infantry to the Republic of Tekale’s army.

WEALTH OF THE BURNING SANDS

The Republic of Tekale is a nation controlled by the Lindwyrms, and covers most of the Great Desert, including its three great rivers that feed the nation by allowing crops to flourish. Shortly after learning how to grow their own food and food for feeding cattle, the serpents became more and more civil with each other and other races, allowing them to form cities, kingdoms, and empires along the three rivers. Eventually, the Empire of Tekale conquered, bought, and negotiated their way to the top, conquering the entire great desert and then some.

The Desert is not very good for food, as most of it is empty and full of sand. There are roads and outpost towns connecting the country together in between rivers, but most settlements and towns in the middle of the desert exist for one of two reasons - a trade hub with a neighboring kingdom, or mining/quarrying resources. What the Great Desert lacks in arable land it makes up for with extreme mineral wealth. Gold, silver, iron, gems, copper, tin, aluminum, and more can be found in the desert’s hills and the mesas near the center.

Tekale has more mineral wealth than any other nation, and its gold coins are worth almost as much as a Wyvelic Gem coin. The president of Tekale is often regarded as the second or third richest individual on the continent, or sometimes even the world. Lindworms also occasionally live in Wyveli or Anylkah.

MASTERS OF TRAPPING

In ancient times, when food became difficult to find, many lindworms would find areas around the rivers and oases and dig sand pits, waiting at the bottom for prey to find them. These sand pit traps would pave the way for clever Lindwyrms to create more elaborate traps to capture more prey.

Once the Lindwyrms learned to farm for food, the art of trapping became less important until a figure named Irsolis the Great invented the caltrop. Sandpit traps lined with spike traps became a staple of Lindwyrm defense, especially when they proved effective against the Harbinger Brutes from the south. Since then, a new military unit was devised - the Trapmaster. Lindwyrm trapmasters would not only devise traps and choose where to put them, but also had the duty to detect traps laid by enemies, making them their own best counter.
