One of the more unique designs of a chainsword I've seen. Β All I can imagine is how much that would fucking hurt to have dig into your flesh. Β *Shiver*

in the Warhammer 40k universe they are pretty much standard issue for all human armed forces, to defend themselves from xenos, heretics and Daemons.

I have to admit, the idea for chaiswords is not mine. Can't really tall where it came from but chainswords are present in modern video games A whole LOT GoW, Fallout and most commonly in the Warhammer 40k series, which I believe to be the main source of that crazy but otherwise brilliant idea!

... the design of the sword is mine though

Whoa... That'll open a few hides!

Nicely done, and by the group this was shared with, I'm guessing this was created in SketchUp? If so I'm even more impressed!

Yes, I've used SketchUp 8 for creating my projects so far, and KT for the renders. Thank you for the kind words

Thanks man, I was kinda hesitating what to put and where, since I had few designs in mind but finally decided to go with that one

Hey, no problem! ^_^ I've always kinda wanted to design a chainsword myself. I've seen a few plausible designs out there, including yours. I think that, if someone actually invested the time into it, someone could actually make a real one.

best design i've seen for a chainsword, i could see this becoming a reality. An electric starter, button maybe? A small yet powerful engine, it would either need to be electric, but finding one strong enough is the problem, i guess just getting it to move would just be awesome to begin with.

Don't know why you're telling me. Perhaps you should comment on CadianConcript's picture, itself.
