Mm look at all those scales. Three years ago I would've had a mental breakdown from all them scales. The painting Purple Dream is a good example of that xD I'd say I've come a ways.So yeah. Dragoony. Yep

Whoa, yeah you've definitely improved your scales. I love the variation in tone. It looks a lot more consistently good than stuff like your old "purple dream" deviation. The anatomy looks awesome too, as always.
It's interesting that you made a shift from "ugh, scales" to "ahh, scales". I wonder if that's the case with other parts of art as well. The more you do it, the funner it gets.

Yeah I definitely don't mind painting scales as much as I used to. I've greatly simplified the tactic which then reduces time, so that helps. Finding music with a quick, even beat to it helps greatly as well.
I'd definitely agree to say that most every part of art gets more fun the more you do it, because along the way you learn new techniques and discover new ways of doing things that help to bring you up as an individual. It only gets boring when your art goes static :3
