LOOK GUYS I FINALLY COLORED A GREYSCALE!!!! I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF :'D
Man I can color a heck of a lot faster through greyscale that just painting. Maybe it's just because I have an easier time with values in greys than in colors?
I also tried out a new technique with the scales. instead of doing a bunch of circles that takes ABSOLUTELY FOREVER, I tried a fishh-y scale-y sort of thing c:
Anyway, yeah, another semi-quicky from really early this morning
(cooldown from major frustrations because of things)

Man, I need to look at my messages more often. This looks awesome. I really love the face, especially the nose and muzzle area. The variety of colours is also awesome, and adds a lot of variety to the painting.
The eyes, too. Fantastic work around those.
My only critiques are 1: don't thin out the neck so much near the bottom
and 2: add a little more definition around the outside of him. Some of the areas, especially around the scales, need a bit of cleaning up

Yeah i do need to focus more on the cleaning up bit. When you're coloring greyscales it can get kind of messy c:

Yeah. It's a lot easier when you're going with black lineart. This style is a bit harder, but ends up looking awesome
