Description
En Garde!
And, now for something completely different…
---------------
It’s always nice to think of DA as a community of artists, all at different stages, and levels of experience;
So, it’s nice to see the Line Art characters getting together in a scene.
Not sure what’s happening here; but, between the knights, squires, maids, and mages, it looks like everything’s under control.
At first, I was worried things were getting out of hand, with all the shops and stalls shuttered and closed; but, it looks like it’s just a training session.
So, that’s good.

Thanks to all the Line Artists, Stock Artists, and everyone for your posts and contributions.

And, way, way in the background over the hills, a cat flying on a dragon-
Flying Free over the rainbow-
Now, there’s something you don’t see every day.
It’s always amazing to me how the Ravens and Raptors can see the ground from thousands of feet up, riding the thermals.
That must be fun.

It’s often good idea to beef-up the female armour.
Even if Elves are relatively impervious, there’s no point taking chances.

My nails are always breaking and cutting me. It’s so annoying.
A girlfriend said it looked like I lived with an angry cat; so, that’s about right.
Just saying, it can’t be terribly comfortable having to go into battle dressed for the beach, even if you were invulnerable.

Memo:
I’d forgotten, I did something like this before with Happy 18th DA Birthday Party! and DA’s 17 th.2. ; And, with Angelic Friends and Angelic Confab .
It’s nice to see everyone getting along.

Listening to:
Female Warriors - Two Steps From Hell - Never Back Down - Epic
--------------
Watching:
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - Michelle Yeoh vs Zhang Ziyi
Reign of Assassins - Drizzle & Wisdom
This is a really nice movie about redemption, change, and forgiveness.
Michelle Yeoh is so gorgeous and talented. Well, she is.
It’s always nice to see someone good at what they do.

Memo: My Dad always says people never change; and, he’s right, they rarely do;
But, my Mum would counter, not unless they want to.
---------------------
Here’s another good movie, on similar themes-
Sword Master (2016) - The Assassin vs Mu-Yung (Sword Fight Scene)
My Dad always said- Might makes right.
But, after reading Robin Hood, in Grade 1, I argued it should be, “Might for Right!”
And, “All for one! And, one for all!”, after reading Dumas, in Grade 2.
When there was a bully in the schoolyard, we managed to convince them a negotiated alliance was better for everyone.

I didn’t realize that the books I inherited from my brother and Aunts were Bowdlerized and abridged, until much later.
----------------------
Not being able to sleep, it was always nice to have books and encyclopedias at hand, even if they were half a century out of date. It was still interesting.
------------------------
That’s how I learned to ride a bike: I read about centrifugal force in the encyclopedia, which gave bicycles as an example; bought myself a bike; and, taught myself to ride in the basement, before taking it outside to the road.
-I miss it.
The only thing better was the couple of times a friend let me ride their horse. That was something, riding so fast on something with a mind of their own; and, asking if they wanted to go faster!
Curiously, the answer was always, "Yes!"
My Aunt and Grandma used to ask the horses who was going to win the sulky races. They said who would know better.
