This comic was more for Fred then anyone, so I doubt anyone else will really get it. Our friend Tyler just started getting ready to get his own apartment and is finishing up the paperwork. He needed a co-signer. I thought Fred was going to do it but Fred emails me to let me know that I should co-sign because my credit is like "gourmet Fancy Feast" while his is "nasty Hog Knuckles" and immediately I got this hilarious mental image in my head. Fred expanded that with some dialog and BOOM. I had a comic that kept me busy at work today. It made him smile and that's all that matters. I enjoyed drawing Fred with a TV for a head, it was SUPPOSE to be a radiation suit.
Damn Lymphoma.

your comics are great, and I agree with thurinus that life related comics are always funnier. Probably because half of the readers can say "I relate to that", Very well done.

I hear that was why Beetles' music was such a hit in their day. They sang about all sorts of day-to-day stuff, and people felt a kinship to them. "Hey, he's singing about what I'm feeling/have felt in that situation. That's so perfect!" Their music is very classic, and most of it still as fun to listen to as it was in my mother's day.
A comic on daily life will likely do quite well. Dilbert does that with a slant towards corporate life.
