The Lowdown On The Download

Man, this has got to be the last Transformers fanart from me. One more fantard moment and I’m pretty sure I am required by Deviant Art to change my account to EyeHeartPrime4745 (and then…Jason actually DID open up a Transformer account!).

Now then, at the end of the new Transformers movie, we were treated to the most peculiar choice of bands to outro to—Linkin Park. Hey, I like Linkin Park, and it was by no means a horrible choice of music to end with…except for the first several notes of the song which sound infringingly close to the Halloween series’ theme; I was half expecting/hoping a Decepticon hand to burst out of the hood of Bumblebee and drag Sam and Chesty McBoobers down to hell.

But all casual fans of Linkin Park know that they must hide their love for the band, since it has become the spokesband for Emo culture. Go on and check Youtube’s avalanche of Naruto AMVs and I’ll give you a dollar if there is a results page that doesn’t include ‘Craaaawling In Mah Skiiiiin’ for the music. This bet can also be applied to Kingdom Hearts and Sailor Moon (??) AMVs as well.

Well actually, the only other band that could rival Linkin Park’s out-of-context anime music video hellscape would probably be Evanescence. Didn’t they have like two hits before disbanding? That should be the case, SINCE THOSE ARE THE ONLY TWO SONGS YOU EVER USE IN YOUR FANVIDS.

So! Knowing the stereotypical fanbase of El Pee, and assuming the song was foreshadowing, I decided to create Saddimus Prima Donna: complete with black décor, eye makeup, fishnets, and his flames are now blood.
I know I’m talented.
To complete the circle of predictability, there needed to be Nightmare Before Christmas stapled everywhere like an Old Testament plague…Emos must turn in their razors if they don’t have Jack Skellington enshrined or donned on. I also added a picture of Hot Rod, the original Emo Transformer from the old series.

I should apologize if this offended Transfans, Michael Bay, Emos, Linkin Park, or Hot Rod.
But I won’t.
