Mufasa gives a loud roar, drawing the attention of a familiar trio... but not for the reasons we're familiar with. Instead of his legs, Scar's claws have sunk into Mufasa's shoulders, and his teeth into his scruff. But as Mufasa slips, Scar begins to as well. The wind blows around the two as Scar gives a great HEAVE! backwards with all his strength...

And leaves the pair, akimbo, atop the cliff, Scar with a brand new bump on the head to show for it...

It turns out when you stop holding yourself to random impossible standards no one asked for, you can actually make progress on telling a story! Who knew!!

Anyways... SURPRISE! We've made full canon divergence. At the last second, Scar has saved Mufasa's life, for reasons we don't yet know... what will this mean for him, having sabotaged a plot he himself had devised?
