Yep, that's Twig!! I think she's world famous. Everyone seems to know her!!! I hope to go again this year... haven't been for about 3 years now. Have someone new in my life who like the RenFest, so it should be a bit more fun to share the experience with someone how like it!

Unfortunately she doesn't stop by the KC Renfest well ok so I never have season passes but I've never seen her there

She's really nice too. I missed the renfest here in Charlotte this past year, but I saw some photos that someone else took of her. Not sure where she's from.

I saw her last year at the RenFaire here in Colorado -- and from what I recall from when I used to work the Faires, lots of people at the Colorado Faire go to the Minnesota one right after. I didn't realize she was so widely known, it's amazing how many people just here have seen her -- I wonder if she knows she's a DA celebrity?
I have some pictures of her, too, I should upload them...
When I saw her last year, aside from quite enchanting me, she reminded me of an ages-long quest I was once on to find or make one of those double-flutes -- and now I have one sitting right in front of me, and I'm very much enjoying learning the harmonies of it.

I'm actually working at the Carolinas Renaissance Festival , and she's making the rounds here now. She's such a wonderful character, and it's so adorable to see all the kids crowding around her while she plays her flute.

I know this girl travels the renfest circuit, but I'm not sure if she goes to Minnesota or not. But you may just want to keep your eyes out for her at the Minnesota RenFest.

I think she does, because I just saw another photo of her somewhere on here before this one and either the artist's comment or someone else's mentioned her being at the Minnesota location. Btw, how much is a ticket to these festivals?

Yeah, she's VERY popular. They even use an image of her in the local advertising for the RenFest. I think it was close to $20 to get in this year. I didn't actually make it out this year. I've been every year since it openned here near Charlotte, often several times a year, and I've also been to the one in Maryland and the one in Atlanta. Plus "Castle McCullugh" which is a "Medieval Faire" here in the area as well. (May just be a Medieval Themed Restraurant now, not sure.) I also used to be real active in the Medieval Recreation Group the Society for Creative Anachrosim. So after a while, you sort of get RenFaired out.
