Yes, he does have some things in common with the original mythological origins, but the story is a fiction, so don't try to interpret yet, the background will all be explained later >.<

This character is an illustration of a story I am writing as well.
If you wish your character illustrated, please commission artists for your own ideas. Especially if you wish to publish something in the future.

If you used it only for inspiration purposes: I'm very happy and flattered that you find my art inspiring!
But please keep in mind, that even this old image has a story behind it as well.
Even if by now i changed lots of things about this character, but it is still an important step in my art journey.

Well, i have newer art from this character, and he changed a LOT over the years. I had 0 design skills at this point too, and he looks like an alien next to my current anatomy skills XD
So it is kind of irrelevant now~

was it hard for you to make the mens lips? i have a hard time with them cuz they always come out very full like a girls. also color is hard. XD your mens lips are so wonderful

I usually have the opposite problem to yours, it's hard to draw other than this shape :_D Experiment and try out different methods, it doesn't have to be perfect for the first try ^^

he has a very strong leader personality and i think that should always reflect in just a glance. theoretically. i am trying to capture him in painting, but not sure if i can succeed in a way as i imagine him. the story will explain it better maybe c':
