Creature name: Crimson goldwing

These aggressive predators are named for the iridescent yellow skin on their wings which can be used to intimidate rivals and potential threats. Any creatures that don't get the hint are bathed in flame.
Goldwings eat any prey they can find ranging from rodents to animals (twice their size) which they bring down with their sheer tenacity and range of natural weapons.
The sharp beak of this dragon is specifically adapted for slicing through flesh and the serrated hooks help to keep the unfortunate victim bleeding. Loss of an arm, leg, or a head is a common consequence of encountering these dragons.
