Description I've been camping around the Canadian Rockies for the last 2 weeks. I had a lot of time. I safety-pinned my string to the back of the driver's seat and worked on it whenever we were getting from one campsite to another.

Info:
Number of strings: 20 White Strings, 16 Red Strings
Total String used: 27m of white, 25m of red
Time spent: No clue at this point

I messed up around half-way through and my strings were a mess so I ditched my pattern map and began to just wing it. Kinda screwed up around the bottom of the symbol but ah well.

Gimme a few minutes and I'll post the pattern map I made if anyone's interested in making this as well, but seeing as it's only 2 colours anyone who knows how these bracelets work can easily do it themselves.

Pattern: [link]

I've made patterns this wide before but never made a full bracelet. The ending was one big experiment which is why it's such a mess. In case it's hard to tell I left three hole on one side and on the other six string with knots on them, and two knots go in one hole. Both can't be pulled out at the same time so they stay in place.

I wanted to say I used your pattern to make my own bracelet. [link] It was incredibly helpful. Thanks for making it.

Can I ask how you did this? Was it crochet or something else? My mom is really handy where needle, thread, and other things are concerned and I saw this pattern and am basically begging her to make me it.. lol.

Also, I'd love to have this featured in my gallery of my AC Group if you are interested. I sincerely love this!

This is a friendship bracelet, it's all just knotwork. You don't need anything other than string and something to secure it onto so you can tie the knots properly. (A clipboard is perfect for this.)

If you've never made a friendship bracelet just google it and you'll probably get some tutorials. This pattern is 36-strings wide though, which is an awful lot of strings to become a tangled mess and lose your current knot in, so it's a good idea to practise with smaller bracelets first. Being able to recognize what knot and what row you're currently on just by looking at your bracelet is an essential skill once you go over 12 strings.

Also, go ahead~ I'd be glad to have this featured in your group
