Description Pattern: [link]

After the first time I made this and it didn't really work, I tried again using 2 embroidery floss for each string. It ended up coming out a much better width for an armband, and the distortion on the pattern isn't nearly as bad. I also fixed bits of the pattern, so it should work better.

I'm very happy with how this one turned out, except that it's too short. It only wraps around my arm about halfway. I used the normal length of string I would use for a bracelet (and indeed, this did come out to a length that wrapped around my wrist perfectly) and I mostly had a lot of string left over, but what stopped me from making it any longer was a single strand of blue that had only about 3cm left at the end.

Now that I know it works though, I'm happy with it. I'll remake the armlet someday using twice the length of string I did for this one.

I think ACIII just finished downloading (Why did it come out so late for PC ;___; Why do you hate us Ubisoft) so I'm gonna go play now finally!

Connnoooorrrrr, I'm coming <3

I can't imagine how long this must have taken you. I've just spent the past hour and half working on it, and I've only gotten halfway through one part of the pattern...lol.

Thanks for posting it though! Also, I was trying to figure out if there was a "cleaner" way of doing the pattern and I couldn't figure it out, heh. The top blue point makes it so hard!

I think it took me about 7 hours total? I'm not looking forward to making a full length one, although I have recently bought a huge amount of blue and white string in preparation @.@

Yeah, the fact that there needs to be 3 blue strings on an even-number pattern drove me nuts. There was no way of making the pattern symmetrical >.<

Oh, so that's not that bad! I haven't made one in ages so it's probably why I'm a little slower. How long was your thread? I'm thinking mine might be too short now, too...oh well.

I wish I could give you a more exact number, but I've always used string the length of the tip of my finger to the middle of my chest. In the end it was the exact size of my wrist

Ah, alright. Nah, that's good then because I used a roughly similar measurement (length of arm + 3/4). I mistakenly read yours wrapping only halfway around your wrist or something so that's what got me a bit worried. Should be all good, then!

Thanks

No, it only wraps about halfway around my arm, which I guess is about twice as thick as my wrist XP I was trying to make an armband but it wasn't long enough for that

I posted the pattern, and friendship bracelets aren't that hard to make. Try making a few (I suggest looking at [link] ) first and then give this one a go
