Just like the other middle-evolved Kanto-dwelling starter, this guy sports some great personality as well as some sweet use of greys. I'm really liking those scales. This turtle sure doesn't look happy.

On top of that, this buddy's got some pretty wicked forearms with some nice turtle-y curvy claws, a cool edge to its carapace, and a nifty hunchbacked pose that brings mind to a Galapagos tortoise. Those are some great webbed feet and membranous ears/head fins (turtle with ears never made a lot of sense, did it?).

I just love that face. He looks so not amused. And it's great that you kept in those dimples wartortle had.

He kind of reminds me of a grumpy Master Oogway.
