Julian is always excited about something new he's (supposedly) discovered or learned. This tom cannot sit still or keep quiet for very long because of all the new ideas he has that he simply must share with others. It also helps with decision making of any kind. Julian always wants to have a paw in what is going on which keeps him up to date with nearly everything that goes on within the tribe.

While he wants to be recognized for his thoughts and ideas and such things, Julian is always quick to give others credit first. He doesn't really care about being in the spotlight or anything. He's more focused on allowing others to know what's going on in the world around him. Observation is more his style than boasting about what he knows and the young tom is already aware of the fact that arrogance does not appeal to him either.

Julian's mind is constantly ablaze with new ideas or ingenious plans (that most often fail if we're being completely honest). His brain works different from other cats and he will slowly come to realize that his intelligence is a bit higher than the average cat. But of course he would never flaunt such a thing. For he is always more focused on the good of the many before his own praise, if he allows himself to receive any that is.

Julian is rather known for his odd habits such as not sleeping for hours before finally crashing or saving the bones from his meals for "experiments". Some things are more social aspects however, like tripping over his words and not being able to get his thoughts out of his head quick enough for his mouth to keep up. Another is his almost nonexistent brain to mouth filter. Most cats just give him an odd look and carry on with their business.

polite | "having or showing behavior that is respectful and considerate of other people"Despite his accidental rudeness sometimes Julian makes up for it by being nice and polite to every cat he meets. This goes with the notion he has that every cat should be treated with respect no matter who they are or how they act. He will even go as far to excuse even the most abhorrent cat for some few actions if he believes that there could be some underlying reason that perhaps everyone else has not taken into consideration.

stubborn | "having or showing dogged determination not to change one's attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good arguments or reasons to do so."If something doesn't work Julian will try and try until he has completely run out of ideas or ways to fix the problem. He'll often wear himself out with trying to figure and manipulate things towards his goals. Sometimes this is the only way to get him to sleep. His stubbornness does allow him to stick up for himself in some situations however and isn't completely useless, that isn't to say though that it will never get him into trouble either.

He often loses things or forgets to do something that he was told because of everything going on in his mind. There are more important things to be thinking about to him, even if he doesn't realize sometimes that his mother has given him the same order or instruction several times.

Sometimes Julian can be too trusting. He wants to believe that all cats are good natured and doesn't like to think badly of anyone. However, this could bring him to betrayal of possibly heartbreak someday. Any cat who was enough motive is liable to take advantage of his trusting nature. And most likely he won't be prepared for that kind of hardship when it does happen.

Although scatter-brained Julian must have a schedule for things. He doesn't like for his time to be without order or purpose. Or, for example, if something is moved out of the place it usually is, especially if he is unable to find it after this occurrs. If it throws him off enough occasionally he'll even throw a tantrum about it in protest until he exhausts himself.

           The second born son of Alexis and Silas, Julian was a strange kit for them to deal with. He was quite unlike most of their quiet and reserved family. Julian preferred to explore and learn rather than be as serious and studious as his parents. That being said he was their child and did retain their likeness in his willingness to be quiet and polite at times when it was surely necessary.

It was in his kithood that Julian came to understand that being a hunter wing would be in his future. He would have the ability to explore the territory as he wished despite the fact that the idea of being a healer did hold it's own perks. But Julian's mind was made up and so he opted to be a hunter trainee when the time came for him to leave the safety of the nursery and go on to provide skills that were necessary for the tribe, especially in this tough time as it was when cats were fearful and filled with uncertainty.

"Nose tucked beneath the fluff of his warm bushy tail Chestnutpaw was oblivious to the hustle and bustle around camp. It was still quite early but Chickadeeshade had given him the day off and the tabby tom meant to make the most of his time, even if that happened to mean merely staying in his nest for longer than he usually would. Chestnutpaw wasn’t usually one to dawdle but one a cold and blurry day as this was, few cats could blame him.

Finally with a yawn and a good stretch the apprentice rose and stepped out of his nest groggily. He looked around the den to see if any of his siblings were still dozing but found none. Deciding that he would just have to go out to find someone to hunt with Chestnutpaw hurried to exit the den, but in his haste found himself bowling into another cat on the other side as he wasn’t looking where he was going. The klutz of a cat immediately shook himself off and turned to look at the fellow apprentice. ”I am so sorry!” he apologized, looking rather sheepish, ”I wasn’t looking where I was going, completely my fault.""
