Well, been a slow and down coupla weeks, so really after designing blueprints to a starship, I started drawing something I really Felt like drawing.

Aether Seax is an ooold character of mine, used for an Eragon/Dragoon spin-off RP, and my first successful Dungeons and Dragons character. He's a half-elf, born from a Noble heritage on both sides, yet cast out (with vague recollections of his past to boot) as a religious repentance for an unknown crime. As part of his punishment, his sight was taken from him. Yet, for his disability, he does astoundingly well as a vagrant and a swordsman with incredible agility and perception, as sharp and as free as wind (which is also his primary magic ability). He may be a bit of a flirt, and a drunkard, but he's a man to uphold justice and virtue at the cost of his life; He believed himself to be a Knight once, and holds himself to their creeds. Aloof most of the time, Aether's primary trait and virtue was, is, and will be Freedom. He personified this, and was a real joy to play such a character as he was.

I missed this character so much, I had to draw him. He was a great character in the Eragon/Dragoon game, and in D&D. This is kind of a merger between the two versions; Blind, yet with his D&D equipment. A sapphire ring that belonged to a powerful elven family, embued with the power of the moon (which needed quite a lengthy quest). His sword too was incredible; a rapier that had a bonus to criticals, and Thunderstrike upon a critical. He could blind/deaf enemies almost every other turn. Unfortunately, I made his story a little too interresting. He was given the flaws Blindness and Dark Fate (and boy, what a fate he had), yet it was countered by Incredible dexterity, could walk a tightrope with ease, and swiftly run up or along walls. His wind-magic allowed him bonuses as well towards perceiving the area around him, so even if he was blind, he could function almost as normally as one with vision.

Ah yes, I missed him, and it's good to finally see him in color! Next time if I ever do another Fantasy RP, I'm using him again. ^^
