This is a Great Horned Owl, one of my favorite owls. This pieces was very difficult and took me a very long time.

Nice! I live in the UK, and over here we have Barn Owls, Short Eared Owls, Long Eared Owls, Little Owls and Tawny Owls. But, up in Scotland, they have Snowy Owls in the winter and it has been said that Eagle Owls have returned. But yeah, you should photograph the Great Horned Owls where you live.

Waaaa!!!! So many owls(I live in the Wong country) is that owls that migrate back and forth or do they stay in the country, most of the owls hear migrate except the Great Horned Owls that I know.
I'd love to photograph the Great Horned owls but my cameras not good at zoomed out shots anyway I don't know wear they nest, only wear they hunt.

The fur on that owl is so beautiful I think I wanna pet him. :3 or HER.
You've got a great grasp on how to make his eyes look so powerful; and his feathers/fur detail is fantastic.

I have had a a lot of practice with eyes. It's odd. Oh, I loved drawing the fur and feathers. The Ear tuffs where my favorite part to draw and the eyes. O: I hated doing the tightly bard pattern on it's head, I kinda went around it at first. LMAO
