Hey, it's for SALE!
Did this pixel painting of Marco from the Metal Slug games (that you all must know, and if you don't shame on you) a few weeks ago to relax a little, and I decided to post it because I haven't really done any new piece for submission lately... lack of time sucks!
But it's true, it is for sale. It will look great in your room, you can throw darts at it or even put it under a table to stabilize it if it has an uneven leg - it's really a multi-purpose item!
So if you're interesting in this 18x24cm little painting, send me a note! It's going for 30 euros, if you buy it I'll throw in a sketch and we can discuss some other advantages, just note me!

Looks awesome. Those extra geometrical bits that you added on look great. So does the color gradients within the squares.

Thanks a lot, Dan! This was the more intricate pixel painting I've done so far, so I was fearing it would be a little sucky. But in the end it actually looked pretty decent. These are very fun to do. I'm glad you liked it!

Metal Slug é muito, muito bom! Eu era um viciado nisso nos meus tempos de Playstation One. Eu estou me contendo pra não pegar esse jogo pro meu DS, senão eu perco minha vida – eu vou querer jogar toda hora!
Aliás, os jogos de plataforma que eu mais gostava era em segundo lugar Metal Slug e em primeiro a série Mega Man X.

Ainda bem que gostaste. Pintar coisas assim em estilo pixel foi algo que comecei a experimentar há algum tempo e tenho que dizer que é muito divertido. Cheguei a conseguir vender alguns, o que é ainda melhor
Eu nunca tive o jogo para PS1, apenas jogava em arcadas e mais tarde consegui em emulador, quer dizer, COMPREI é óbvio, não iria fazer download de um jogo e... errr... bem, mas toda a série é muito boa e viciante, o pior é que nas arcadas se gasta moeda atrás de moeda porque é muito fácil perder vidas! Tenho aqui mais uma ilustração pronta a colorir de Metal Slug, desta vez em meio digital, falta é arranjar tempo para o fazer...

Eu também comprei todos os jogos que eu tenho. Eu baixando jogos piratas da internet? Não, não! Isso é crime federal aqui no Brasil... Jamais faria isso! E também nunca baixei nenhuma música, aqueles montes de dvds de música mp3 aqui, todos eles eu comprei pelo Itunes!

Pensando bem... Acho que esses desenhos pixelados, eles ficariam muito bonitos em camiseta também! A técnica pra fazer em casa não é difícil, pena que aqui no Brasil esse tipo de coisa custa bastante dinheiro!
