WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?! Every piece I do seems to have a different style. I'm like a chameleon. TT___TT
There were so many inspirations for this. One is an air mermaid idea I had last week. Another is the song "The Riddle" (see above lyrics). And yet another is Fruits Basket. Seems random?? XD Well it's more the manga-ish style.
RRRRRGHHHH I need sleep now. o__- nighty night.

first I used a low opacity brush to create a bubbly effect. Then I used a low opacity eraser to erase lines through it. It's just a lot of experimentation and fooling around with tools and opacity and such. c:

yeah I wanted her to have a long, slender neck (a characteristic of manga) since the overall feel is something like elegance. ^^

the back of her neck is nice, but i think that the bottom of the front should start curving outwards for the rest of her. but maybe i'm just not a manga person.
