A survivor after losing his camp to bandits is left with only a Glock 17 handgun and the clothes on his back. He comes across an abandoned rural town, thinking that because the town does not appear as ruinous as the cities that he can find supplies without much trouble. At first his he did not encounter much trouble in his search say for the occasional reanimated half-eaten immobile corpses that tried in vain to devour him only to have him walk by them being unable to follow. So far his search did not bear much fruit. Seeing as the the town had already been largely ransacked during the first days of the outbreak he only managed to find a few bags of chips and a few unspent 9mm rounds for his gun. Having let his guard down he casually walks to a road only to detect a thick and wretched odor accompanied by a series of familiar and dreadful moans and roars in front of him. Realizing the danger he was in, he runs to cover at a nearby abandoned car, he peeks over with his weapon ready only to see that the path in front of him is thick with marauding zombies shambling, all bumping into each other uncaringly. He falls back into cover thinking to himself "Is it too late to go back now?"
