Holy crows, I didn't even realise I never uploaded this from like, a year ago. This mask hasn't mad much else done to it at this point as we moved into our first house over this past year and we've just been hyper busy!Sorry the image is so small. This was originally a round nose dragon mask from DVC with heavy alterations and additions. The bumpy scales are him are just matte white coloured puff paint which will be painted over when done to give texture. When I got this mask DVC did not offer and smooth dragon masks so I spend weeks sanding this mask down smooth so I could make my own scales. DVC now offers a smooth dragon base and I couldn't be happier! TY, guys!

Hah, thank you for the kind words. I hope to do commissions in the future but right now I just don't feel like I'm skilled enough to make costume for other people. The heads I guess I can do fine, but the rest is the trouble. So once I learn how to make the bodies and everything properly without "Frankenstein-ing" it, then I'll maybe take one or two commissions. This dragon in the photo will only be my third costume made and the learning curve on each on is insanely huge.

your base alteration work is always incredible to see, it amazes me how you can make it look like something entirely new and so vastly different than the original base. I remember seeing the in progress shots of hatchi when she was a WIP too, and this head has that same charm to the transformation as she did too, its magical seeing it turn into what you want it to become as you work it and share that progress with us
