I've seen loads of these Mako patching up Korra pictures. Which, let's be honest, is the more likely scenario. But, just for kicks, here's the opposite.

Oh oh I do think Mako's bent over a little too much here. His back seems too curved and it's making him seem incredibly out of character. Mako doesn't always stand up straight, but when he does slump over it's a much more subtle, nonchalant curve rather than this incredibly swooping C shape. This suggests a lot less confidence, and although Mako doesn't seem egotistical, he isn't the kind to burrow down and make himself seem smaller and fragile. If anything he has to try to put up a front, a habit I'm sure he got from years of having to be protective of his brother. He can't show weakness x)

Ever since I essentially pieced together the entire plots of the first and third episodes with all the clips that were put online before they actually aired, I've felt regret that I haven't felt the pacing and character development the way I should, so I've decided I'm not going to look at any clips or pictures from episodes that I haven't seen fully yet. I want to be shocked and surprised while I'm watching the episode, so at the moment since I don't know what's in that picture, I've got to give you an IOU on those thoughts x)
Here's my guess though (and yes, it's a legitimate, honest hypothesis on my part, based on other's theories I had heard swimming around earlier and your comment just now). They're going to make a Korra/Mako/Asami love triangle, so that image or clip or whatever is of Asami like... cuddling up to Mako or something? xDD
DON'T TELL ME IF IT'S RIGHT OR NOT I want to keep it as just a theory until I actually see the episode and am sure or not xD
