2nd attempt? Its really really well done, BUT you probably should have removed the casing of the sword near the very tip of the blade, its distracting xD
AND!!! The flow is just a little more odd to the right side, not sure why...
Other than that, I love the use of pale red and the great vibrant eyes. The blending is really well done, though as a tip, you could always try doing an overlay smudge where parts of the surrounding smudge are smudged over a few flow lines of the render to add a little more depth.
