Yeah, that is the battlecry of badgers and hare. This is true to the book, Legend of Luke, though.
In the story, Martin hears this half-remembered shanty that mentions his father, Luke the Warrior. Becoming depressed for a bit, unable to remember his past, (a bit like Shadow the Hedgehog, I guess... ) he and his friends head towards the sea (escorted, of course, by the Guosim), in order to find out what becaome of his father's tribe...
Spoiler Alert!
Anyway, on the way, they pass through this pine-grove full of some of those mysterious savages known only as the Painted Ones, who catches the shrews' boats in some sort of vine netting in the water.
Martin succeeds in diving into the water and slicing through the netting, releasing the boats, but the Painted Ones are still swarming over the boats. Worn out from his previous efforts, Martin resorts to yelling out a good loud "Eulalia", which sends the savages scurrying off in a panic.
