I love this City, but I've set and numbered its days.I love this city. Enough that I'll set it AFLAME.

Okay I lied. I had to get some practice done on my techniques so I could do a GOOD-looking city skyline for the site I'm helping out with, and was like "Well. I lit the city on fire cos it sucked \: Let's draw an Arsonista and give it to ~Ishiji as an Octoberpresent 8D!"
I made up Octoberpresent just now. But I need to excuse to give my lurvely (MORBID AS HELL) little sister a gift.

Movie references aside*coughTHECROWcough*, I will call this fellow Donovan D'Vraes. He goes ahead of the Arsonistas and marks the places to be torched. He's known for flaming grafitti, lighting the paint while it's still wet.
I used stock brushes a bit, but as you can see I went back to my round brushes anyway =3= so much for "practice"
Back to painting skylines until I get it right.

Nice touch, making the overlay work. It's not overwhelming. What I really like is how you make the rough, sketch look on the buildings work with the feel of the picture.

Pardooon, did you draw it just like that, or is it layered? I can't tell but I wouldn't be surprised if that was done in one fell swoop o3o just curiosity

It's layered, two layers only though. I don't like using many more than two layers that often >x
