Description
It's been ages since I've submitted a deviation with a real prehistoric creature in it, so I'm doing that now! I basically just wanted to do a deviation containing a prehistoric creature which actually lived in the sea all of the time (as it turns out, Leptocleidus may have been purely river-dwelling, Lepidotes was in both rivers and seas though don't quote me on that and Onchopristis went into rivers to breed) and I wanted to do a deviation of a British prehistoric creature, as I originally wanted to have a lot of deviations show casing Britain's rich well of palaeontology discovers, so I chose to draw Plesiosaurus Dolichodeirus and Asteroceras Obtusum to draw, both from the wonderful Jurassic Coast. I admit that Asteroceras is lacking some rungs on its shell, but I think a closer drawing of an ammonite would be needed for those, but I am very proud of most of the Plesiosaurus, especially the head. I originally was going to have it pursuing a shoal of Dapedium, but I eventually decided to have it take centre stage. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this and I hoped you all liked it too!
