Description Here´s the work in progress preview of *SilkenWinds commission. You can guess which parts aren´t finished yet XD I´ll probably add few extra touches to the crows too. I am a bit afraid how the violet dragoness will fit to these natural colours of the bg. But I´ll do my best : )

Copic markers and some coloured pencils and white acrylic for the sky.

Of course, it´s a bit like watercolors Try it yourself, for example layering one colour over another

Ok

Results:

Blue over red = Black
Red over yellow = Murky and dark orange
Blue over yellow = Black
Red over warm grey = Redwood colour

Weird stuff if you ask me

It´s always better to layer lighter colour over darker. So yellow over blue, yellow over red, etc. You can also add more than one layer of lighter colour for more visible effect

Well ahh i got it now

Yellow on blue turned into dark green, yellow on red turned it into
Sort of an orange shade and silver on blue turned misty colour.

Should this happen?

I love this! The detail in the wings of the birds and the dragon. The coloring of the sky and the way the clouds look. I can't wait to see it finished. Very nice!

Ohh so pretty :3 I love the background, its so relaistic, and the crows look real. I love the clouds =3= so fluffy. Well, the viloet dragoness dosen't seem to fit in that bg but I quess you could make the tree greener???? heh I really don't know, cause it's your choice.
