Description "It's not fair, Master Methuselai," Nuzarin whined, trying to suppress tears. "Why does Draike get to be Emperor just because he's bonded to the Emerald Dragon?"

Methuselai chuckled heartily making a rough sound like trees swaying in violent wind. He lifted his great paw and rested it against the young boy's cheek. "You come to me so often, Nuzarin, worried about many things. Yesterday it was if you'll grow up like your brother, Nurava, and today its why you can't have something that was never in store for you."

"Why? Why wasn't I chosen?" Nuzarin cried, finally letting tears slip down tender cheeks.

"Your heart is noble, my son, no doubt. I'm sure you would gladly lead your people. But perhaps your talent lies elsewhere. The blood of your forefather, Draygaron, runs strong through your veins and you would make him proud. Yet the duty of being Emperor is allotted to he who was chosen and is burden, though a fantastic one. Be thankful for that you are the descendant of your mighty ancestor. His blood alone means greatness," Methuselai explained. He watched as a large drop of water materialized above Nuzarin's cupped hands.

"But what can I do? Draike's a wind wielder like Draygaron was. Kamaen's a healer; Nurava's a fire-bearer and Aurshin's an earth handler. Is there anything I can do with water?" The boy asked, letting the water drop fall into his hand. The clear liquid pooled in his palm and slowly dripped out onto the ground."

Methuselai let his paw rest back on the ground and his straightened up, smiling. "You want to help people. Water is the ultimate healing element. Water soothes wounds, cleanses, and keeps all of us alive. Your element is special, Nuzarin. Treasure it and bear it well."

Anyhoo, just a little story clip describing the scene. I have no clue what kind of creature Methuselai is, so PLEASE GIVE ME NAME IDEAS! Nuzarin's not an elf, but of a fictional similar race.

I always have to clarify cuz noobody seems to use "Native American" anymore...they're all "Indians" thanks to our explorer forefathers)

Canfulate....? Lol, No offense but you do lack in the naming category... But you gave me an idea...cangulfe (pronounced kahn-guhlf) Kinda sounds like Gandalf...eh (LotR)

What did you say earlier, felfie? THAT'S ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I don't find it appropriate for the dragon thingy...

And it comes in various varieties too..lol

Well, Cangulfe is ALMOST the same as mine...LOLOL!! I am much better at dragon names that species. I had a black dragon charachter many moons ago: Shadith was his name.

And so you'll have to make another character that's a Felfie! heehee

After I read The Dragonriders of Pern books I thought all dragon names needed to end in 'th'...lol

LOL! I read most of those books YEARSSSSSSSSSSSS ago. Not all dragon names end with "th"...

I'll post the story clip with Kija in it. It's kinda a sad story and I'm not sure if I should continue it or not. I like it. I'll post the clip as a journal and maybe draw Kija.

"th" as the ending for a dragon's name is kinda cool. How about some of these goofy names"

Poojith
Mafzith
Eyrdoth
Oth
Wenath

Just some stoopid names off the top of my head, lol

Byes!

Not an elf but similar... like a sprite or a pan or a fairy?

Maybe a Spelf? Elan? Elfite? Fite? Felfy?

Ok, so names aren't my strong point!!

Is the other creature a dragon?

LOL!!!!! I have a species name for the little boy, but not the dragon thing. The little boy (yes, its a boy) is called a Drachen which ironically is "dragon" in German . His species is like an elf with dragon traits (has whiskers coming from spine at base of neck >, fangs, slightly slit pupils). Anyhoo, I'm working on a series dealing with characters from a novel I've been writing. The series uses gradient colored outlines and shading with no detail color. I'm actually very pleased with how this first one came out.

ps. Got any recipes or something native to Alaska? I'm so weird...I'm making a recipe book (more like a scrapbook mixed with a recipe book) with different recipes from different places. Btw, thanks for chatting with me a lot. I enjoy our conversations cuz I'm at home a lot and not in school yet. Parents and siblings are at school or work and it gets lonely. Even if I've never talked to ya in person, it still means a bunch. Thank you (howls happily and wags floofy tail). Well, I'm off to see that silly New Moon movie today. I really only wanna see it cuz of the giant, floofy, red woof! Anyhoo, I'm out.
