Description
An ancient dragon rises from the depths of the ravine where he has slumbered for centuries. Time for breakfast.I started this guy at Dragon con and he has sat in my rough book ever since. Until now. Watercolour on watercolour paper (print out of original lines), with very quick highlight and stuff on computer. But mostly this is watercolour. One day I will come back and do a proper colouring job here.

Thank you. I think this one definitely benefitted from me coming back and working it over twice on the computer - the second time around I was able to pick out much more detail and give it a more atmospheric colour (or lack thereof) scheme.

haha lol. I did this drawing of a dragon once that came out pretty good (in my opinion) but once water color touched it, OOOH MAYNE lol, it looked like a glob of paint just spilled all over it lol. Paint & pastels hate me soo much lol

Well, I think that shows too! Some do "dark" just for dark's sake. Your atmosphere and themes seem naturally dark and not forced.
