this was just my thought: he's one of the bestest winter painters i know... 
i have been to this gallery before, and it's worthwhile to keep a look out for older works with winter scenes, they're really nice...

of course they still make sense - at least for, yes, poetic and also nostalgic people like me...
my mother also painted and often doubted wether her "lieschen mΓΌller" style did make any sense - she struggled to get more abstract and also achieved that during her last years... but i must say that i still prefer her "simple" themes like this one...

i came to deviantArt after i moved out into this village at the end of the world - i sort of lost all my friends for a while and sat here all alone (concerning my art and music) - so i was very happy to find this fine world wide community of artists - all decent people - to find inspiration, challenge and very much encouragement, it really helped me...
so i'm happy to pass some along myself...
