i dunno how to make it look more interesting i hope it looks better now :> thank you so much ~Skysealer for the suggestion with the highlights! <3it was a lot of fun to try a new coloring technique for this :3
well, i only threw some color over the sketch and rendered it out, but i never tried this before aaand i really like the result and the fact that i didn't spent days on it x3

Omg , I doubted you could keep it simple and make it better. Well you got me ghehe , you've done that for sure man. Compliments , the contrasts are beautiful and also the background is quite nice compared to the color scheme of the creature. Love it , great work.

And concerning fanciness, do you mean the critter or the background? Because there is something in the bg that makes me think of light rays. You could emphasize that, and it'd also give your character some highlights.

thanks :3 it's probably smooth because i used the 19px default brush, which is really good for blending colors :>
and yup, i put the sharpen filter over it once
arr, i meant the whole image, but i edited it now with sky's suggestion c:
also it would be hard to put some rays of light behind her because i uhm.. normally don't draw something on the BG layer PLUS i'm to lazy to erase the parts where the rays cross her body, you know me, i'm lazy like that

Hmmm... a way to make it more interesting.. Perhaps add some highlights (lighter hue of the background) along the hind legs, ventral area of the tail, belly, and under the arms? Very smooth style, love what you've accomplished!
