Empress Cadance, Prince Shining Armor, and Crown Princess Aria Valor present the Royal Family's newest member, Princess Aurora Cadenza to the Empire

Ooh, boy, this one took a while, as do all Crystal Empire related pieces take me. Anyways, I'm still steam-rolling along with my current train of art featuring Harmonyverse parents, so have the ShiningDance edition!

The royal family of the Crystal Empire is very much loved and admired throughout the kingdom. Aria and Aurora are crowd favorites and both Cadance and Shining couldn't be any prouder. Aurora would undergo the Crystalling ceremony a few weeks after her official presentation (due to certain complications) by Sombra, while Twilight Sparkle was appointed Aria's Crystaller when she was born. While all seems perfectly normal among them, the royal family have their secrets, and both parents are ready to defend their children if ever need be. Added tidbits for consideration: Aria is only 3-4 years older than Aurora; Aria is around Tenebres' age and Aurora is near Starswirl's age.

There's a reason little Aurora is wearing that headband, and there are plenty of other secrets to unveil about the Empire Princesses, but that's for another time. Drawing all those sparkles and glows really put on a number on me, hehe. Hope you enjoy, gang!
