Like BadCowboy69, I also at first thought it was a photo. Is that why you uploaded such a dinky representation, or to hinder possible would-be thieves? It's quite puny on my large high-resolution monitor.
Also, in case you hadn't noticed, your gorgeous artwork titled "The Weekend is Calling" is headlining Doctrinaire's 'July 2013' gallery. It's much the magnificent accomplishment and waaaaay better than a comparably unworthy Daily Deviation. Only the finest masterpieces tower to such glorious status β¦ I could go on-and-on.

Ah..........sorry about the small image.Β I can bump it up a bit when I get a chance this afternoon.Β My thoughts on going with the small image were that the painting is really small - 8 x 10 inches.Β For example, the legs of the sheep are just one brushstroke wide.Β If you blow it up too much bigger than the actual painting to look at it, it might look kind of funky.Β Β Thieves I can't waste my time worrying about.Β If they are going to take it, they will.Β The only way to avoid that problem is to not put anything on the internet.Β Β Some of my work gets downloaded a lot, and I don't worry about it.Β If someone wants to put my work on their desktop, or even make a print and put it on their wall, I have no problem with that at all.Β I have an issue with people who take other artists images and claim them as their own, and with the factories in China that reproduce artists work stroke by stroke and then sell them all over the world - but that kind of stuff is out of my control so I won't waste my time worrying about it.Β Β Copyrights are automatic and supposedly good for 70 years after your demise - but basically worthless.Β A lawyer wouldn't go after copyrights on a painting because the money isn't there.
And wow!Β Thank you for headlining my painting.Β I am quite honored.Β
