Description Salix is the Genus name for the Willow, and to me the tree has a very reptilian look.

Everywhere I go, I've always got me eyes open for characters in Nature.
At WWT Slimbridge, everyone was more interested in photographing the birds,
but old Willows hold a fascination for me, having seen so many on the Somerset Levels
