King Hans spun around in shock and found himself staring at a strange boy. He had white hair and a shepherd's crook.
"Who are you? How did you pass my guards and who are you to tell me what I may or may not do? I am your king!"
"The names Jack Frost. And as for your guards, well lets say they not very good at their job." Jack said smiling casually. "Oh, and your no king. Not really."
King Hans scowled at the boy and his hand slipped into his jacket for the concealed dagger. "I am king. I am the thirteenth in line for my fathers throne and under the terms of agreement that Elsa signed I am now the unquestioned ruler of Arrendale. But of course you are merely a child. I doubt that you can really understand that can you."
Chuckling Jack stood up an looked down at the crowd of enraged people down below. "Oh I understand a lot more than you think. And as for you being an unquestioned ruler. Well the people don't agree, do they. Have you heard what they call you. It's quite amusing really. Do you mind telling me why?"
"The people are merely unsettled with my new laws and they will look for any reason to dispute my claim. And as for what they call me, that is nothing more than the drunken whispers of men around the tavern fire."
"Really." Jack said smiling again. "Well there pretty convinced the stories are true. They say that it's a dirty family secret of yours. That it's the reason why your father hates you so much."
Snarling in rage King Hans pulled out his dagger and lunged for Jack.
Dancing out of the way, Jack hovered just beyond the balcony in the air. "Sorry, did I forget to tell you. I'm a winter spirit you see. Same as Elsa and I'm going to keep her safe, one way or the other."
Scowling King Hans composed himself and sheathed the dagger. "You will forget the stories and show me the respect I deserve. In return I will allow you to continue seeing Elsa. If you do not I will have you chained in the dungeons without your damned staff. Am I understood boy."
Shrugging Jack nodded and then flew off without warning.

At that point a guard burst in breathing heavily. "F...forgive me your majesty. It's the princess, We caught her trying to escape with the mountain man. He somehow got into the palace.
