Kristoff heard soft footsteps echo off the stone and looked up. He smiled in relief when he saw Anna standing in the doorway and started forward. "Anna, I'm so glad your okay. I've got a small boat waiting, I'm taking us across the lakes and then we can leave for the mountains."
Anna smiled slightly but looked back. Could she really just leave? Would Elsa be okay on her own?
But then Anna thought about Hans and how he'd treated her and lied to her. She couldn't live in fear of him. She wouldn't!
"I'm ready. Lets go Kristoff."
Kristoff nodded and rushed up the stairs to Anna's side. He couldn't help himself from hugging Anna and kissing her passionately. "I'm so happy your safe Anna. I can't live without you."
Blushing Anna gave a small smile and held Kristoff tightly. "Please don't leave me again Kristoff. Not here. Not with Hans."
"That man will never do anything to you again Anna. I promise." Kristoff said pulling away. "Now we have to go. Quickly before the guards start their patrol."

"I'm afraid your too late boy. Now release the princess and step away." A loud firm voice ordered as ten guards ran from the castle to surround Kristoff and Anna.
The guards drew their swords and pointed them at the couple except the man that gave the command.
"If you do so you will both be treated with mercy."
"Kristoff!" Anna whimpered as she clutched him tightly. "Don't leave me."
Kristoff put one arm around Anna protectively and with the other threw his hunting knife at the guards feet before throwing his bag down. "If you take the princess anywhere I will be going with her. I swear I will not fight any of you."
Frowning the man that gave the command nodded and the guards sheathed their swords. "I accept your terms boy."
