Description
Another drawing for my Illustration class, this time of Alice meeting the Caterpillar, who keeps asking her "Who are you?" (hence the title).Done with those thick oil pastels on cardboard. It's difficult to detail your drawings with those pastels, so I had to use my fingers to smudge the colours and use a normal pencil to add in some detail and outlines.
Again the colours aren't exactly the same as the real thing, but I guess that's always gonna happen with scans. ='3

It's beautiful, very well done. The colors are perfect and I adore the caterpillar and the mushroom.
What fascinates me most is the smoke. Although at first sight, it looks very simple, it's very realistic. Respect for that!

Heh, yeah, those pastels can be a real pain to work with sometimes. However, they can also give you some lovely results, so that makes up for it. ='3
