Hello everyone! This was going to be more for the Blue Mermaid project I have been working on, but I got a creative whim and just went with it. And I am so glad I LOVE this piece. I had the idea of the mermaid half in the water, and I always love making portraits, so this was really fun to make. I love that line, I think I'm going to start a series with it. Now that I don't have any time at all I have a lot of ideas, isn't that how it always goes?Because she is a mermaid she has all those barnacles and mussels growing on her

Orange and blue are by far one of my favorite color schemes. And you did a gorgeous job with the contrast and the slightly different painting style in the blue, where she's underwater. The barnacles are a great addition as well. It's a great work!
