Odette's eyes went wide when the stallion came barreling towards her. Her instincts told her to run, but she forced herself to stay standing firmly where she was. After all, even if she managed to get away from him, then what? She would just have to fight another stallion or mare, and some other poor soul from her own herd would have to take on this brute. So she stayed stubbornly put until the last second. She reared up slightly and pushed off with her hind legs, barely dodging the huge dun who charged by her.

Odette concluded that she must have done something to piss the unicorns off though, for her hooves slipped once more in the mud. But this time as she tried to swivel around and face her opponent again she lost her footing completely and fell to the ground. As she manged to get her front feet back under her she looked up to find the bachelor stallion already turned back around to face her, and she froze. Odette had known this whole time that she may not make it out of this war alive, but what those words meant never really sunk in until now.

Before she had been praying to live, but now she realized she had it all wrong. Now, as she stood back up, she was only praying that it wouldn't hurt.

This was so much fun to draw oh my gosh! I tried a lineless style for the first time too and i actually really like it! Turned out pretty good for me not knowing what I was doing c:
