A very Disney-esque style of coloring I wanted to try out.

For any of you who have read R.A. Salvatore's books (or those inspired by his work) about the Drow elves and their historical background, this image probably already makes sense. But for those of you who have not: the dark Drow elves used to live above ground, on the surface of the planet until a conflict with the fair-skined of their kind drove them into the bowels of the earth - a place where they festered with contempt, stewed in their hatred, and generally became quite...well...evil. They were taught to hate the surface elves that had driven them away from the sunlight and stars, to regard them as their truest enemies, to be slaughtered whenever the chance arose. I wanted to depict an interaction between a Drow and Elf, where the good-natured, optimistic half of the pair attempts to break through the constructed walls of emotional distance surrounding the Drow. I'm pretty happy with it, but still have reservations...
