Description Here's another commission I did for my neighbor. I believe she's a friend's/co-worker's dog. I can't remember now.

Original photo refs were way blurry, and the ear/paws were cut off. The background wasn't straight either, so I had went in and fixed/added all that. I also changed the entire photo's color scheme, since things were way too dark. Plus, there was a door and some other strange things that just looked out of place, so I removed them.

The owner of this dog loves the drawing so much, she posted it on her Facebook.

Medium: Colored pencil, a little bit of acrylic paint for highlights.

Seriously adorable. Lovely job and great adjustments you made from the originals. I wonder if you have ever thought of posting the original photos in a little thumbnail in the corner for comparison? It'd probably wow people even more.

Awwww this looks so sweet SN . Greatttttt work on thissss . The colouring work looks fantastic, you handled all of that lovely texture in the fur, all of those layers would drive me maaaaad D:. The shading looks so smooth and shaded as well . You handled the highlighting really well too, the light source is really interesting. Nice job on the expression too the face just looks so sweeeeet and full of life and personality, and you drew the anatomy really well too . Awesome job!!!

I SAW the WIPS of that on LJ 8D Always amazes me at how well you draw portraits of animals ;___; they always come out so GOOD NGGG

ME TOO. My neighbor told me it's a birth defect, and her ear is always like that.

I'M GETTING BETTER AT THEM I GUESS? I guess blurry photos are helping somehow? IDKLOL.
