Later Vin goes out to punch some ginger face.Just a little something something. I've been trying to get a hand of drawing better digitally lately. I usually only paint the sketches I make with a pencil.

I love this I myself am a big sister, but that never stopped my little sister sticking up for in school. I was never a confrontational person, but my sister was. I remember when I was in an out 5th grade my little sister punched a girl in the nose for bullying me, the girl at the time was her best friend.

This is the most adorable thing! I love the way that Vinnie is tying Sophie's bow. That whole pose speaks volumes, because sisters doing each other's "hair" is such an intimate, "let's have a chat" kind of scene. I like how that dynamic of their relationship shows through in this picture, and highlights some of the slight differences between the characters as guys and the characters as girls. Sisters relate differently than brothers.
Sophie's expression is perfection. You can tell, just by looking at her, exactly what happened.
And speaking of differences in the genderbend AU, this brings up another one: the difference in the relationship dynamics of the Donnie/April crush, and the Sophie/August crush. First of all, August would probably be more likely than April to drop a careless comment about the turtles' appearance, or anything else. And Sophie would likely be more sensitive about it (though Donnie, as a character, is plenty sensitive, as well). Also, there's a major difference in the way that Vinnie/Raph can react about it. In the canon universe, when April unkindly strings Donnie along, Raph can't exactly go and beat her up for it. All he can do is try to talk sense into Donnie about it, which he tries, unsuccessfully, on several occasions. But in this AU, if August hurts Sophie, Vinnie can totally go bust his head in. And he would deserve it. 
If you ever do get the time to draw a comic of this AU, it will be brilliant.
