Made this one when I was still at Cel's. Man I've been home one day and I already miss her so much! And now I gotta start school blegh...A character that could have been one of my favorite in 2012 series IF his design wasn't a big ball with limbs and random spikes coming out of it and if he didn't just suddenly become a good guy without any shown realization.
This is why I slightly redesigned him for my genderbend AU and made her one of the worse bad guys in it. Like c'mon, Slash could have been such a scary great villain, he prectically knew everything about the turts!
Also female turtles are bigger than male turtles and because, if I'm simple, Slash's mutation is 3/4 turtle she's also bigger than the male Slash. No wonder Arty's intimidated!

I've been away from TV a long time. I only seen one episode of this character in the show. I agree his design was melodramatic, I've been hearing some stuff about him turning good for no known reason. That's just, "Whaa..?" But let me just say this is just awesome! I think you made the character look even better than in the show! It took me reading the note to realize this is a genderbend, LOL. I hope to see more of this character design in future projects

There was many occasions when I wanted to try something like that out! I adoread the 2003 series as a kid but I've never drawn the characters from there. Maybe I will. Thanks for reminding me

Man I loved Slash as a villain. I know it was nice to see him and Raph become friends again but why though? It just came out of no where and him as a villain might've also helped Raph with making new friends. Spike's gone and that's just it. He had to move on.
But nah bring back Slash and make him a good guy for no reason sure why not, Nickelodeon?
Even as a good guy, Slash just isn't Spike and I feel really bad for Raph xDDD

Yeah I was so dissapointed about that. Slash could have been such a crazy awesome villain. There could have been a few more scary episodes with him since Raph's anger issues never really went away after 'Slash and Destroy'

Finally someone who has the same opinion on Slash as me! I preferred Slash 100x as villain, he just looked too cool for it! I didn't like exactly how he became a good guy except the "mutagen" made him a bad guy at first explanation, but anyways, this is such a great work! Arty is so 'uhm cool' next to him thinking about not making any harsh moves hahahah XD (I also like how Slash has defined calves/ankles now, the turtle feet without ankles was always so weird!)

She doesn't look that much bigger OR taller than Male Slash. It's hard to really tell without him next to his female counter part.

I love this one! They're just so different to each other, and Slash is just huge, that's amazing!
But I got a question, though: Did Artie go and play with, like, little trucks or catch ball with a little boy in this one? Because the tea party part was just adorable in the original.

Well, this is a very adequate version of the characters, according to rule 63. I love when the author thinks about rational things before drawing. If the animated series was made initially about the turtles girls, then I would like to put this work on the list of his concept art

if you are saying that female turtles are bigger than male turtles then why in tmnt genderbend the boys are taller

because they have more human DNK in their blood and they took the height more after humans. Also I think people would be more confused if I drew the girls taller than the boys

Canon Slash is such an aggravating character to me. XP He had sooooo much potential and was so intimidating in Slash and Destroy... and then the writers just kind of threw that out the window and made him a good guy. XP Maybe the turtles forgave Slash, but I sure didn't!

Yeah I didn't forgive Slash and sure never forgave the writers! And the turtles, especially Raph, were really out of character for forgiving him too!
