I've been working on him for days >_< his wings gave me no end of trouble. And they're still so wrong >_< buut I like how he came out anyway =] I hardly did any shading, I just wanted to have him done :/

yes, I did reuse the lineart that I had for Tytos with a few changes and corrections. I've bulked him out, gave him wings and changed his body shape a bit. This pose seemed to fit him more than others X]

I loovvee this breed! ha, I've already stated work on another one who I'm extremely excited about XD

Personality: He is usually independant and prefers to be on his own. His self confidence is still shakey due to his past, but he's slowly gaining it back. He's eager to learn and to please.
Background: Polaris is one of the horses that was rescued and sent to ORS by Christian's parents, who own their own little stable. Polaris had spent his life in a breeding facility, always being confined in his stall that was way too small for his wings. His wings were constantly clipped to prevent him from flyng away, although he wouldn't have been able to anyway since his wings were weak from hardly ever being used. His stall was left unlocked one day, and Polaris took his chance to escape. He was rescued a few days later, but the rescuers found it extremely difficult to place him somewhere, since there were few stables that were large enough to fit him comfortabley, and even fewer that could spare the time needed to help him regain the use of his wings. After weeks of searching, they had run out of time and Polaris was sentenced for death. It was at this point that Christian's family found him being led away and scraped what they had left to buy him out, and send him to his final home at ORS.
