Like the others before me, I really like this drawing. Something's bothering me, though: wouldn't using a spear underwater be counter-productive (water resistance)? I'm curious.

I guess so, yes.
But better go there with something, or use it at short distance, even without throwing it at all.

I'm not criticising the choice; it really is a lovely drawing, born of an imaginative mind. Merely, when I think about fishing using spears, my mind conjures up pictures of 'primitives' standing in shallows and throwing spears when fish come too close.
In truth, I enjoy nitpicking; I simply hope you didn't take my curiosity too harshly.

Well, Wikipedia does say that spearfishing while diving exists as well as spearfishing from a boat. So, this answers my -in retrospect- dumb question. Glad I had this small epiphany.

This is amazing! And it makes sense for a post-apocalyptic world. Before we had all these fancy lures, SCUBA gear, and fishing barges, we humans used what was available to us: our lungs, our legs, and a long spear!
Easily one of my favorite underwater drawings. You ought to feel proud!

Awesome! Gotta wonder what kind of post-apocalyptic fish she's looking for.
