The colours are a lot easier on the eye here, but i think you captured his style well

and yes, easier on the eyes XD though the reference I had used did have slightly duller colours than normal for some reason... though I fail at finding the image again on google

You seem to have broken a bit from the expressionist disturbing colours but sure a great study!

I used a ref with a bit of different colouring
can't find it now though :S
haha, when I was a fair amount younger (middle school... maybe grade 6?) I drew a famous paiting with markers XD I just found it last weeks... it looks decent for my age. I remember being so proud XD
I've been meaning to scan it lol
I also painted something originally by Georgia O'Keefe (sp?) in grade 8 (two years back)

Ahh how cool!! I remember when the real painting got stolen, I did like a current events report on it.

psh, I never heard about when it actually got stolen.
But I was being all hygenic one day (yay for the shower radio XD) and the radio people said that they found it XD XD
so yep, all good ^^
