Even questing heroes need a break from all that evil-vanquishing, world-saving business every now and then. So I imagined how my ESO character Katarina Murrianus and her travelling companion Brius Galenus (played by my friend ) would spend their day off.

A bit of background, first: she's a Daedra-summoning mage who often takes an "end justifies the means" approach to solving problems. He is a Divines-fearing Paladin who always seeks the "good" solution, and is dismayed when one isn't available. Despite being quite an unlikely pair, they've stuck together through many hardships and often he has played the role of her conscience while she provided the "voice of reason", balancing out each other's more extreme personality traits. As you might imagine though, they disagree plenty.

Kate enjoys Colovian brandy, and this time she's had a little too much. It's not easy convincing the pious Paladin to join in her revelry, though.

That Orc isn't a member of our party; he's just a guy enjoying his ale and thinking that humans are strange.
