Description
This is Carey Bay, on the peninsula south-east of Toronto. The peninsula is actually “Coal Point”, and the bay has been called “Cary Bay” since 1973. In recent history (1991), the spelling was changed and “Carey Bay” was officially made into a separate suburb.
The wharf is from directly behind the Captains Cottage , a beautiful heritage cottage built in 1901 that we stayed at on our honeymoon. Just one of the many (+800) photos I took on my honeymoon at Lake Macquarie.
